Jr. American February Events with the "Big Club"

PeeWee Shootout during Allen Americans Game - Februrary 25th, 7:30pm Game Time

• Team event
• Two goalies (Adrian Turner will be 2nd goalie) - team divides into two teams shooting at each goal
• Between the 1st and 2nd periods
• 2 Free tickets per player to game (I'll confirm if we can get more per player)

Jr. Starter of the Game:

• One player each date
• First come first served for a particular date.  I will use email received time stamp as indicator.
• 4 free tickets to that game
• The player meets hockey players before game
• Skate out with the team and introduced by name as the Jr. Starter of the Game
• Stand at Blue Line while national anthem plays
• Dates are:
• Feb 2nd (Wednesday @ 7:30pm) Date Given Back

Practice Wednesday 1/26 6:15pm

Wednesday 1/26 Practice 6:15 to 7:15pm Ice; 7:30 to 8:15pm Dryland

• Ice practice first on Community ice, Dryland afterward
• Dress kids in warmups, Dryland likely to be outside.  Temperature expected to be around 40 degrees.
• Nothing heavy right before (understandably difficult, but try)
• Arrive @ 6pm to give plenty of dress time
• Please check board for dressing room assignment

The game this weekend is Sunday 1/30 5:00pm home game vs Flyers.

We have an important change to our game schedule.  The original schedules you have (and that have been reflected on pointstreak) show our games this Sunday and next Sunday at 3:30pm.  THIS IS INCORRECT.  Both games are actually at 5:00pm (our regular time) with the Squirts playing right before us.  The Wolves GM has been informed and their coach updated with the new time. I will update the blog and the email reminders will reflect this change.  Pointstreak will be changed by Jeff Ramsay.  Therefore:

Sunday 1/23 Home Game vs Jr Wolves 5:00pm

• Please arrive 1hr before game (4:00pm) for short warmup before dress time
• Chalk Talk 4:45pm
• This is third of 5 straight home games
• If your player will be absent, let me know (other than the ones I have been informed about)

Week of 1/17 Schedule

Tuesday 1/18 Practice 6:30-8:45 Arena side - Ice only

• Possibly only 2 hour ice block we will receive all season
• No Dryland - please hydrate the kids appropriately.
• Nothing heavy right before (understandably difficult, but try)
• Arrive @ 6pm to give plenty of dress time
• Please check board for dressing room assignment

Sunday 1/23 Home Game vs Jr Wolves 3:30pm

• Please arrive 1hr before game (2:30pm)
• Short warmup before dress time
• Chalk Talk 3:15pm
• This is third of 5 straight home games

• Dryland at 6:30. Please dress kids in warm workout clothing as it will be very cold
• Ice Practice at 7:15 on Arena side
