Jr. Americans Can Clinch 1st Place with Win this Saturday

Saturday August 13th - Road Game vs Grapevine Wolves (Red) - 2:50pm Polar Ice House

 

A win would put us at 9-3 with 18 points, a full 5 points clear of Jr. Wolves (Black) who have 2 games remaining (4 possible points).  A loss would open the door to them to pass us with 2 straight victories.

Stretch Run for the First Place Jr. Americans

As we embark on the stretch run for your first place Jr. Americans, we can reflect that we are 1-0 at the Bantam level and 6-2 at the PeeWee level for a 7-2 overall record.  Depending on what Arlington does, we might have another game at the Bantam level this weekend.  We are on a 7 game winning streak and the whole team is contributing at an amazing level.  It has been a fun season so far, with still some doubt about who will win the league.  There are no playoffs, so the team with the best record in the regular season is the champion (not sure there is a trophy, though).  Here is the balance of the schedule:
